About the event
AI has disrupted lots of industries, and the third sector is simply the next one on the list.
If you're a founder, a volunteer, a trustee or a member of staff within a small charity and you're spending hours each week writing funding bids - UNPAID - this workshop is for you. This workshop is also ideal for freelancers and small business owners who struggle to find the time to create content to market themselves because there simply aren't enough hours in the day.
Smaller charitable organisations - those who can't afford a permanent staff member to compose funding applications for their charity, or the time to promote their cause to potential donors, stakeholders, beneficiaries and the wider public - struggle to secure adequate grant funding, which is predominantly down to their lack of time and resources. Most of these people will be employed elsewhere, in order to pay their own household bills, whilst running the charity in their spare time. However, competition for funding has seen some charities sending out 35-40 funding applications a month just to maintain their position. This isn't sustainable (or fair).
AI, namely Chat GPT, used as a tool with human input, can cut the time spent creating funding applications by half - at least. It can also help you create a library of content for your charity's marketing (you know, that stuff you keep meaning to get around to but never do?).
In this workshop, you'll not only understand how much AI can do to help you, you'll also learn how to manipulate it, so that the content you create passes plagiarism checks and AI detector programs.
If you've always thought your life would be easier if you could clone yourself, come along on May 18th - this is the nearest thing to that.
AI/Chat GPT is not something to fear. It's not going to take your job nor is it something that will help you 'cheat' the system. It's simply a free, digital tool that will save you hours of time each week, so that you can spend more time with your family, give more time to the strategic growth of your charity, and more time to yourself.
